We're a Scout group in Hawthorn, run by volunteers, where young people learn by doing: camping, hiking, building things, leading others and helping out in the community.
West Hawthorn Scout Group is part of the Scouting movement in Victoria. Our leaders and helpers are volunteers, and our Scouts meet each week during the school term, with groups for different ages. You’ll find us at Kennon Hall, 464 Glenferrie Rd, Hawthorn.
Weekly meetings, weekend camps, hikes and adventures big and small. Along the way our Scouts build confidence, learn practical skills, and learn to work as a team and look out for each other.
Every December our Scouts and families run a Christmas tree sale, from unloading the truck to helping load your tree into your car. What we raise goes straight back into the group: camps, hikes, gear and adventures.
